Dineo Ndlanzi is a dynamic young South African, located at the Reos office in Johannesburg. She is currently working on the Midvaal Orphans & Vulnerable Children Project as facilitator, community resource person and writes monthly newsletter for the project.
Her name means gift in Southern Sotho, she strongly believes she brings diverse gifts in this work.
Her energy is around using creative arts to facilitate connections with self & others and working with people to find their inner wisdom to bring in change in their problem situations. Her work started in 2000 when her passion for performing arts connected her with social change work. She has done a lot of community facilitation work in several of South African communities, Ghana, Zambia & other African countries. Over this period she built great experience working at community grassroots level.
Her work has also included incorporating the arts in corporate South Africa, doing team building, creating connections & relationship building in the work space through the art of storytelling, poetry, music & drumming. She has done work for FNB Bank and Liberty Life in this role.
Her rich African roots have inspired her role as a storyteller, sharing and allowing the best of what is to be created & emerge through the arts. She co-hosted Arts for Social Change learning journeys with Pioneers of Change in 2007. She is on journey of learning how artistic elements can be integrated in change process work. Her biggest gratitude is that life is always sharing, teaching & guiding and therefore she knows that she can never cease to learn.
She is currently studying journalism & aspiring to learn the art of coaching.
Dineo lives with her husband & two gorgeous sons.
