learning, project coordination, management

Nicole is working as the learning historian for Reos in Johannesburg, focusing on capturing and integrating learning that emerges from the process, multi-stakeholder engagements, and participant reflections. Her role often involves supporting the facilitation team through co-ordination and documentation and exploring creative ways of bringing the learning history into the Reos work.

She is passionate about nature, healing modalities and the arts as tools for social change, and believes that through processes of self healing, we are able to play a more active role in healing the planet and society.

She has been part of the design and host teams for several learning journeys linked to Pioneers of Change and Berkana Exchange since 2004. She also worked for CIDA City Campus as programme manager for the community outreach programme, focusing on building the leadership skills of youth to mentor vulnerable youth in their home communities. In 2004, she was part of Diversity Factory, working on innovative tools that could bridge diversity issues within the South African context.

Nicole has an Honours degree in Zoology and spent 3 years in the Amazon rainforest living and working with a local community on a community-based tourism initiative. She has also been involved in HIV awareness campaigns and the conservation of the giant otters.
